My great grandparents, George Fanning Thompson and Samantha Cheney, lived next door to Joseph Smith III and his family for several years on Short St., Independence Mo. This receipe was passed down from the Smith to the Thompson Family, possibly as early during the era of Dr. Levi Cheney. Was taken from Levi's old house on Short St. in 2005.
