	Ephraim and Harriet Law Cheney Nauvoo Farm The Cheney Family Farm is located on block 36 outside Nauvoo, not block 36 inside the village. The Cheneys resided on this property during the 1840s, somewhere in the view of these photos. Ephraim owned over 100 acres and Horace Burgess, the uncle of Perry A. Burgess lived across the road. Levi Cheney returned to the property many years after they left the area and commented on how desolate the area is.
